The Human Capital Business Partner (HCBP) plays a strategic role in partnering with business leaders and employees to ensure our people strategy aligns with and supports the overall business objectives. You will serve as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance and support on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders to understand their strategic goals and challenges, and develop HC strategies and solutions to support them.
  • Translate business goals into actionable people strategies and initiatives.
  • Participate in strategic planning meetings and provide HR expertise and insights.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, managers, and employees at all levels.
  • Develop and implement programs to foster a positive and productive work environment, and promote employee engagement.
  • Partner with managers to develop and implement performance management programs and career development plans for employees.
  • Oversee employee onboarding and ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date on labour laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Ensure all HC practices and programs comply with legal and ethical standards.
  • Advise business leaders and managers on HR policies and procedures.
  • Analyze HC data to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and deliver reports and presentations on HC metrics and insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on business partnership.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices, including recruitment, OD, compensation & benefits, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Excellent business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
